Approximately 40 residents volunteers participated with our fire professionals during our Galena Creek Trail Cleanup Event. 138 hours of work went into making 44-slash piles that will be burned by Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue personnel, whenever conditions allow. Until that time, our trail looks much nicer than it did. We are hoping to dedicate at least one more day to this project before this coming winter covers the ground with snow.
